In 2017, the development of a new strategic framework for the systemic protection of children from violence began in Serbia. Help net in cooperation with the UNICEF office in Serbia and the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, coordinated the development of a new Strategy for the Protection of Children from Violence, which comprehensively united experts, civil society organizations and decision makers. The novelty is that in the process of adopting this relevant document, children were directly involved in cooperation with the association “Friends of Children of Serbia”, which led the participatory component of the project.
