The president of the Help Net, Gordana Milovanović has presented the project "Training, work practice and the possibility of employment in the field of home care for the elderly" at national TV station "Radio television Serbia".
The project conducts Help Net in partnership with DIMAK Serbia and cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The project is a part of the “Migration for Development” program of the German Organization for International Cooperation – GIZ.

How to help caregivers who have been caring for elderly family members for years? Why is it important that they also have support and opportunity to rest? About formal and informal caregivers and their role in caring for elderly people, especially with disabilities, as well as about other important topics related to the field of support for the elderly, the Radio Belgrade team spoke with Gordana Milovanović, president of the organization Center for Support and Inclusion Help Net.

Tatjana Prijić, counselor from Commissioner for Protection of Equality took place in the show and promoted the project "Improvement intergenerational dialogue" . The project is implemented by Help Net in partnership with Commissioner for Protection of Equality and civil society organizations from Czech, Poland and Hungary.
Is intergenerational solidarity possible and how is it achieved? The answer to these and other questions was given by Tatjana Prijić from the Expert Service of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality.

Does and why the family bear the biggest burden in caring for a member who is elderly or has disability? Surely one of us is a potential negotiator of a close relative or is he already taking care of a parent, spouse or child with disability? How much can the health and social system help? The answers to these questions were given by professor dr Bojana Matejić and professor dr Bosiljka Đikanović from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. They are also researchers on the project "Improving the position of informal caregivers" implemented by the Center for Support and Inclusion Help net.
