The project “Prevention of risky forms of behavior of young people through their joint participation in educational and sports activities” was implemented by Help net with the support of MPNTR in the period from April to October 2022 . The final activities of the project were as follows:
- At the beginning of September, a training for peer educators was held, in which high school students from Belgrade high schools participated;
- Five essay authors who participated in the award competition for “Best essay on the topic of prevention of risky behavior” were awarded.
- One workshop was conducted by a peer educator at the “Nadežda Petrović” secondary medical school.
- Awarded essays were published on the Help net website in the Blog section. As a product of this project, the blog will be available to all young people and their works on current topics concerning the youth population.
The general goal of the project was to contribute to the prevention of risky forms of behavior and the preservation of the mental health of adolescents – high school students in Serbia through educational and sports activities that have a participative character.
The specific goal of the project was to improve the knowledge of high school students about the recognition of risky forms of behavior that manifest themselves in the real and digital world, which in a certain way encourage stereotypical gender beliefs, as well as the acquisition of information and knowledge about protective strategies when manifestations of risky forms of behavior occur in their environment.
