The final conference of the project “Strengthening Qualifications and Employability of Hard-to-Employ Groups” was held in Belgrade on April 30, 2025. The project was implemented by the Center for Support and Inclusion HELP NET with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
The event brought together representatives of relevant institutions, centers for social work, holders of accredited training program, as well as licensed providers of community-based daily services.
The project’s two key digital tools—the “Obuka na klik” mobile application and the accompanying information platform—were presented by Mirjana Novakov from the Republic Institute for Social Protection, Anđela Čeh, project coordinator, Andrijana Nikolić from the perspective of a training program provider (Caritas Šabac), and Marija Zvijer, advisor of the “Migration and Development” program implemented by GIZ on behalf of German Development Cooperation.
The “Obuka na klik” mobile application is free of charge and intended for individuals who wish to retrain and qualify for support roles in the field of social protection—such as home care providers, personal companions of a child, and personal assistants. With just a few clicks, users can access clear, accurate, timely, and comprehensive information about accredited training programs that lead to certification and potential employment in the provision of social welfare services.
The accompanying information platform is a closed system intended for accredited training program providers. It allows them to monitor interest in trainings, manage applications, and communicate directly with participants.
Given that both digital tools were developed with the active involvement of representatives from target groups—including institutions, program authors, and individuals from hard-to-employ social groups—participants of the conference concluded that the project represents a significant step forward in improving access to information and employment opportunities in the field of social protection.
