The project “Improving the competencies of informal caregivers and professionals in the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina” is being implemented in collaboration by the Help Net Support and Inclusion Center from Belgrade, as the lead applicant, and Caritas Šabac and the Center for Social Innovation Tuzla as partners.

A series of activities will be organized within the project to improve the position of informal caregivers in the specified area and beyond. The specific goal is to provide educational support to informal caregivers and professionals from the social protection system. It is planned for a
total of 120 informal caregivers (80 from the Republic of Serbia and 40 from Bosnia and Herzegovina) i and 120 professionals (80 from Serbia and 40 from Bosnia and Herzegovina) to undergo training and thereby acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for quality care.
Regarding educational programs, the project includes the development of a total of three programs:
- Educational program for informal caregivers – a set of guidelines to facilitate care for individuals.
- Educational program for informal caregivers – a set of guidelines to facilitate care for individuals.
- Educational program for professionals concerning the care of informal caregivers.
In addition to the training sessions, the plan is to create short videos that will also serve as educational materials, which will be made available on online platforms (Youtube channel, Facebook, Instagram).
