On Thursday, 22. September 22, in the ceremonial hall of the Red Cross, Simina no. 19, Belgrade held the final conference of the project “Strengthening intergenerational ties”.. On that occasion, the results of the project were presented and the short film of the same name premiered.
The following spoke at the conference:

- Brankica Janković, Commissioner for Protection of Equality;
- Monika Podsklanova Šuhajdova, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Slovakia in Serbia;
- Gordana Milovanović, president of the Center for Support and Inclusion Help Net;
- Danka Đukić, project coordinator, HELP NET Center for Support and Inclusion;
- Emilija Profirović, student and participant in project activities;
- Mirjana Saška Vranković, beneficiary of the Pensioners’ Club and participant in project activities
At the event, the results of the project were summarized – the benefits of the implemented activities and the premiere of the short film of the same name.
The goal of the project was to contribute to the participation of the population of elderly and young citizens in the areas that concern them, as well as to bring generations closer to each other by maintaining dialogue as an important method in a democratic society, and maintaining performance as an art form. Also, the project aimed to improve regional cooperation by strengthening the idea of intergenerational solidarity.
The project is implemented by the HELP NET Center for Support and Inclusion in cooperation withthe Center for Social Work Horelica from Slovakia, the European Group for Territorial Cooperation TRITIA from Poland, and the association TRIANON from the Czech Republic, with the support of the International Visegrad Fund..
The conference was of a hybrid nature, which means that it was also possible to follow the conference online.
