On March 7, 2024, the first round table was held in Tuzla.

U okviru projekta „Unapređenje kompetencija neformalnih negovatelja i profesionalaca u Republici Srbiji i Bosni i Hercegovini“ which is financed under the Third Call for Project Proposals within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014-2020, a round table was held in Tuzla on March 7, 2024. The topic of the round table was “Improving the Quality of Informal Care in the Tuzla Canton.” The goal of the round table was to advocate for the development of support programs for informal caregivers in the Tuzla Canton and to promote the inclusion of informal caregivers in existing services and local support mechanisms.
The project “Enhancing the Competencies of Informal Caregivers and Professionals in the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina” is being implemented within the framework of cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of contributing to the development of new sustainable non-institutional social and health services and/or improving existing services for informal caregivers and professionals within the social and health care system in the Tuzla Canton (BiH) and the Mačva District (RS) through cross-border exchange, cooperation, and synergy, thereby increasing the quality and efficiency of care services for the elderly and other individuals in need of care and support.
