On Thursday the 10th of October 2019 a conference was held in the ceremonial hall the Serbian Red Cross<\/a><\/span> egarding the presentation of the results of the project “<\/a>Development of Intergenerational dialogue”<\/a><\/em><\/strong> <\/span>It was conducted by the Center of Support and Inclusion Help net, in cooperation in cooperation with the Equal Rights Trustee<\/a>i<\/span>, Non-government organization \u201990 Decibels\u2019 from Hungary,<\/a><\/span> \u201e<\/span> European group for territorial cooperation TRITIA\u2019 <\/span><\/a>from Poland, as well as the local autonomy \u201e\u2018 Vala\u0161sk\u00e9 Mezi\u0159\u00ed\u010d\u00ed<\/a>\u201c<\/span> from the Czech Republic, with the support of the International Vi\u0161egrad fond<\/span>.<\/a><\/p>\n

Besides the comprehensive report with the results of the project, a short film on the \u2018 Intergenerational dialogue\u2019 <\/strong><\/a>,<\/span> was premiered for the experts and the wider public, produced with the goal of raising awareness of the importance of intergenerational solidarity.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project has a goal to encourage international cooperation, understanding and cohabitation of the generations. Intergenerational solidarity is accomplished with work on the change of relations between the generations, searching for new ways of knowledge exchange, skills and experiences along with sharing responsibility. This project provides that opportunity to reach its target groups, young and old, in a comprehensive way. In the scope of the project, ten debates were organized on the topic \u2018is there Intergenerational solidarity\u2019. In ten Serbian cities ( Belgrade, Mladenovac, Pan\u010devo, Lu\u010dani, Kraljevo, \u010ca\u010dak, Gornji Milanovac, Smederevo, Kni\u0107, Kragujevac). The participants of the debate were young people from 15-30 years of age, representatives of the middle age generation and persons over the age of 65. The goal of htese debates was an open conversation on the relationship between the young and the old, exchange of opinion on the positive or negative behavior patterns, along with the suggestion for the improvement of intergenerational dialogue.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With the goal of breaking the stereotypes and prejudices on ageing. Raising awareness on the significance of intergenerational dialogue and the connecting of different generations on the basis of interest, in the same cities a play was given with the title \u201eExcuse me, how old are you?\u201c <\/em><\/strong>played by the \u2018Peter Pan theatre\u2019 from Belgrade.
The project advocates for the development of human and civil rights, performing systemic influence on the competent institutions. The results of the project will be summarized in 10 points into the general recommendations for the suppression of discrimination and the promotion of equality in the annual report that the Equal Rights Trustee presents to the National Assembly, as a foundation for creating new and reforming old politics in this domain.<\/p>\n
